One Dirham vs. One Hundred Thousand

The Prophet ﷺ said, “One dirham outstripped one hundred thousand dirhams.” A man asked, “And how is that, O Messenger of Allaah?” He said, “A man has a lot of wealth, from some of it he takes one hundred thousand dirhams and gives them in charity. Another has nothing except two dirhams, then he goes and takes one of them and gives it in charity.”
